Who should attend?
This course is intended for a broad range of candidate backgrounds. It's suitable for candidates with non-technical backgrounds such as those involved in selling or purchasing cloud-based solutions and services
Course Overview and Outcome:
This course maps directly to and is intended to prepare students for the AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals exam.
This course will provide foundation level knowledge of cloud services and how those services are provided with Microsoft Azure. The course can be taken as an optional first step in learning about cloud services and Microsoft Azure, before taking further Microsoft Azure or Microsoft cloud services courses.
The course will cover general cloud computing concepts as well as general cloud computing models and services such as Public, Private and Hybrid cloud and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).
It will also cover some core Azure services and solutions, as well as key Azure pillar services concerning security, privacy, compliance and trust. It will finally cover pricing and support services available with Azure.
There are a number of prerequisites on this course:
✔ Students must have AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals booked in through their MCP Dashboard prior to the course and take the exam within two weeks of taking the course
✔ Students must have a Microsoft Learn login, and have completed the following Azure modules prior to the course:
- Introduction to Azure Solutions (26m)
- Cloud Concepts - Principles of Cloud Computing (1hr 6 mins)
- Core Cloud Services - Manage Services with the Azure Portal (1hr 13m)
✔ Students must have a free Azure account (should be created through Microsoft Learn)
What do you need to bring?
Attendees should bring a wifi enabled windows laptop and have proof of prerequisites.
Both events will run from 8.30am - 6.00pm, refreshments and lunch will be provided.
