Darren Roberts, Vuzion Azure Commercial Lead, writes …
Earlier in the year I wrote about the launch of Azure Plan, Microsoft’s new commerce experience, in a Vuzion news item titled, Why Microsoft Azure Plan is a good thing for you.
That was back in February 2020, and we’ve now had seven months during which our partners have been reporting back that Azure Plan is definitely “a good thing”.
If you’re new to Azure Plan, it’s been created in response to the change in buying strategy that’s predominant in the majority of businesses today, with business leaders influencing most software buying decisions. Azure Plan is designed to deliver a streamlined buying experience for the customer, and to help partners provide guidance and support, along with value-add services, to ensure that customers commit to Azure.
Our eGuide, Azure Plan, looks at details in depth, including:
- How Azure Plan helps you to expand your portfolio
- Microsoft’s single offer catalogue
- The introduction of a single CSP pricelist
- Microsoft’s new, simplified, single, digital agreements
- Features for easier customer management
- New rewards for partners (partner earned credit (PEC))
- How to move over to the new commerce platform.
Vuzion partners are able to buy Azure Plan via Vuzion’s marketplace and billing platform, Vuzion CORE, and to move customers with existing Azure CSP subscriptions to Azure Plan.
Transitioning customers is not an automatic process if you’re new to Vuzion as a partner, but a service carried free of charge by our team of Azure experts, and involves no customer downtime.
Microsoft is ending the Classic Azure offer in 2021, and so now is the time to move, to transition customers currently on the Classic Azure offer, and take advantage of the benefits offered by Azure Plan - with Azure Cost Management highlighted as a particular benefit, helping partners add even more value in cost optimisation and consumption insights.
We have a team of Azure consultants as well as the Vuzion partner team on-hand with advice and guidance, at whatever stage you’re at with moving to Azure Plan - and I’m also here ready to take your call to answer any questions you might have, or you can reach me via my email email@example.com.
