The integration of Planner and SharePoint brings excellent new functionality to team sites. From now on, teams and users can plan directly from their group’s site from SharePoint. They can also embed their boards from Planner and keep an eye on those plans from within the news posts and pages in SharePoint.
This integration means members can quickly access and seamlessly interact with the tasks of their projects, and keep useful, important information update to date from a single point.
Comment threads for Microsoft Excel
New threaded comments in Excel will enhance collaboration and sharing on documents, and provide consistent usage across PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
These comments allow for straightforward, easy-to-follow conversations which are placed around the content of a document, allowing for co-workers to @ mention their collaborators and write replies when necessary. This amounts for better, easier collaboration and cross-device editing.
