Originally launched in June 2016 for educators as part of Microsoft’s 365 Office platform, form functionality is now available for business users; letting you create and release surveys to audiences of your choice.

But what does that mean for its new users?

The new release of Microsoft Forms Pro adds to the platform’s functionality by allowing conventional users to deploy a suite of enterprise analytics tools. These allow businesses to quickly create useful forms and surveys and distribute them easily and effectively. This makes it easier than ever for business owners of all backgrounds to collect useful market research, helpful customer feedback, or utilise forms in any element of their internal and external work.

Microsoft’s product has been developed with usability and utility in mind, letting it fulfil three key tasks for any user...

  1. Analysis: Any responses can be instantly turned into data that can be actioned, analysed, or presented with the rest of the tools available on the 365 platform.
  2. Design: The system’s built-in wizard can help with form-building and offers helpful guidance on question types that can increase the quality and volume of response.
  3. Distribution: Integration with key Microsoft apps such as Flow, Inbox, Salesforce, or Dynamics helps ensure that your forms can quickly reach their intended audience with minimal resource expenditure.

Microsoft’s commitment to integrating smart functionality allows you to quickly trigger surveys, configure them and automatically analyse your responses to search for useful respondent feedback. As Forms Pro is part of the Microsoft Office platform, the software is fully compliant with the highest of privacy and security standards – empowering you with the ability to capture sensitive data without worry.

This extends the Office 365 platform to include a true end-to-end survey solution; letting you control the process from initial survey design to final release. Once your responses have been secured, the content can be quickly analysed by the platform’s comprehensive suite of tools and properly action your feedback - increasing efficiency, saving you money, and removing the need to outsource your work.
