Vuzion Managing Director, Michael Frisby, writes …
Originally scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, as it has for the last two years, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, Microsoft’s flagship partner event, Inspire is this year going digital, 21-22 July.
This will be the 12th Inspire I’ve attended, and although I will miss meeting up with colleagues and friends from across the world, it will be really interesting to see how Microsoft delivers the event digitally.
As always, Microsoft has put together a great programme of speakers, corenotes and breakout sessions. The corenotes (starting at 16:00 BST on the 21st and 22nd) are particularly useful to attend - and I’ve made sure that my diary is clear to be able to do so on both days. The event is a real opportunity to hear Microsoft’s strategy and priorities for the year ahead, and I’m looking forward to coming away, as always, with lots of ideas for helping our partners grow their business.
Not only is Inspire going digital this year, it is also free to attend. This provides a great opportunity for many more people than usual to benefit from the event. If you haven’t already, do register on Microsoft’s Inspire website, where you can also see lists of speakers and event agenda.
We will have a big team from Vuzion covering the event, to capture all the announcements and news, to decipher the impact for the channel, and provide commentary on our Inspire hub. As with Inspire itself, we will be delivering our Inspired event, where we summarise the key program and product announcements, in digital form.
Inspire is one of my favourite weeks of the year. It is going to be a different experience this year, but I expect as worthwhile as ever. And as a digital event it is a great opportunity for many more people in your business to attend and spread the knowledge and understanding as wide as possible.
I suspect that this will become the most attended Inspire ever.
