Microsoft Inspire reports strong growth for the ISV Connect program

One of the announcements made at Microsoft’s Inspire (21-22 July 2020), was that the partner event marked the first anniversary of the launch of their ISV Connect program, and that over the course of the past year more than 500 ISVs have enrolled in the program.

At Vuzion, we’re not surprised at this take-up on the part of independent software vendors, as we’re experiencing incredible levels of interest in our ISV partner program, supported through our relationships with Microsoft and other selected partners.

Our ‘building block’ concept on which our program is created means that our ISV partners can create the solutions specifically suited to their individual business.

With our continually evolving ecosystem of partners, we help our ISVs reach out to and engage with new customers, while we help with advice on promotion through Microsoft AppSource. The summary of Inspire announcements, Inspire 2020 Book of News, reports that since launching their ISV program, Microsoft has certified more than 1,200 apps on AppSource, and that partners say, “the program is helping them reduce their development time, get to market faster, differentiate their solutions and grow their business in new markets in ways they could not have scaled otherwise.”

The Inspire 2020 Book of News summary also highlights the findings of a Total Economic Impact™ study by Forrester, The Partner Opportunity For Microsoft Business Applications ISVs, and which include that “ISVs can achieve 75% faster development using Power Platform, a 90% return on investment, and 100% year-over-year subscription growth, among other results, by building and scaling a Microsoft Business Applications ISV practice”.
