There are some exciting new enhancements to Dynamics 365 applications, due to be released in April 2019. Previews are already being fed out to users, but these updates promise to be a real game-changer which could transform businesses. There will be hundreds of new capabilities across Customer Service, Sales, Retail, Finance and more, making this the most advanced and powerful version to date.
New AI apps
The April 2019 release is going to introduce three brand new AI apps. The Dynamics 365 Customer Service Virtual Agent improves customer experience with smart AI-powered chat bots, while the Customer Insights app is a powerful tool which enables businesses to analyse customer data and use it for targeted action. For those involved in eCommerce, the Dynamics 365 Fraud Protection app is designed to drive down losses through fraud, increase revenue and improve the online customer experience.
There are also major improvements to enhance the Dynamics 365 and Office 365 experience, with new Power Platform capabilities combining Power BI, Microsoft Flow, Common Data Service Apps and PowerApps into an unrivalled toolkit for businesses. These upgrades will make it easier for business analysts to compile high-quality reports and simplify workflows, meaning organisations can perform in a smarter and more efficient way.
Driving the digital transformation of a business, Data Integration has a built-in link to the Power Platform and pulls together data from across hundreds of business systems. This incredibly powerful tool is set to increase value for an organisation and save time for application developers, making use of the Common Data Model but going significantly beyond its capabilities.
Overall, the new April 2019 release is set to completely revolutionise the way companies do business, making use of the most advanced technological developments to provide users with a cutting edge digital toolkit. It is, perhaps, the biggest leap forward to date and this is a very exciting time for current users of Dynamics 365. The virtual launch will be taking place on April 2nd, followed by a general release which is currently set for April 5th.
