There were 4,000+ visiting the Microsoft Future Decoded 2016 Tech Day at the ExCel centre in London on Wednesday 2 November.

The programme was created to provide “a roadmap to the future that is anchored in the reality of what a developer or IT professional can achieve today.”

There was focus on the growth of intelligent services and devices and the way in which they’re transforming our relationship with technology. Covered, were topics on how intelligent software is developing to understand fundamental human abilities, and discussions looking at the advancements in IT for medical science.

The growing significance of artificial intelligence in “helping us to see, to decide, to predict, to make and more” also featured as a central theme.

In individual sessions various aspects of Windows, Office 365, EMS, IoT, were explored, along with a number looking at Azure, covering migration, security, and configuration, among other topics.

Julian Dyer, Vuzion CTO, comments, “It was a busy and exciting event with a buzz of interest about stepping beyond the basics of infrastructure and virtual machines in the cloud, looking at a future of built-for-cloud software taking advantage of AI and data analytics.”
