We have Azure on the mind at the moment! Yesterday we shared the highly anticipated news that resellers and customers will soon be able to add third-party Azure Marketplace services to CSP from March 2019. And today, we want to share the details behind two very exciting Microsoft Azure incentives that are currently running.
Both incentives are a great way to help accelerate your Azure opportunities; whether it’s for existing Azure customers, or to help introduce new customers to Azure as part of the SQL 2008 end of support and Microsoft’s promise to extend support if a switch to Azure is made. Please take the time to find out more about each incentive below:
Azure Access CSP Proof of Concept
Good news! Microsoft have secured incentive funding for unmanaged/SMC customers for January – March 2019. What’s more is that Microsoft have already started working towards creating a version for managed customers with up to $10k available.
Opportunities that have Azure-consumed revenue (ACR) worth over $25k per annum can receive $2.5k credit to be consumed by 31st March 2019. Essentially, the sooner the proof of concept begins, the longer the proof of concept will be able to run for!
Azure H2 Sales Incentive
Microsoft are also running another incentive for any new Azure CSP additions that are created in H2 (January – June 2019). As a reseller, if any new Azure CSP additions use $1,000 per month in their June bill, then you will receive $1,000!
For example, if you provision an Azure customer today that consumes under $1,000 of monthly revenue but this surpasses $1,000 by the end of June 2019, then you will still receive an incentive payment. However, it is fixed at $1,000 per customer.
