Businesses can face a major challenge when implementing new software, with employees reluctant to embrace unfamiliar technology. Employees are often resistant to change – particularly if time-consuming training is needed – and yet it’s vital for the business that new applications are properly adopted and used to full potential.

Vuzion is delighted to introduce partners to LightUp 365, and the suite of online, on-demand video support and training to help businesses get the most from Microsoft Office 365.

Videos are categorised according to application, with 2,000+ out-of-the-box, on demand, fully searchable, bite-sized ‘how-to’ videos integrated into the Office 365 experience.

The training is based on just-in-time (JIT) learning, which is defined by being on-demand and integrated into the application supported. It’s a learning format proven to be efficient and practical, and cost-effective – particularly as it eliminates the need for formal training and the associated time and cost requirements.

LightUp 365 has developed training videos for all Office 365 applications, with undertaking to create and upload material as quickly as possible following release of new Office 365 features, and to review and modify training for existing applications when major updates are announced.

Oliver Moazzezi, Cobweb’s Microsoft Office Servers and Services MVP, says, “With LightUp 365’s videos businesses can give their employees the most up to date and informative training for Office 365, and maximize use of Office 365.

“Businesses can also customise the user experience. They can create learning paths and campaigns, as well as libraries to host their own training materials. The tracking facility means that administrators and trainers can monitor which videos users have and haven’t watched.”

Martin Harwar, MD LightUp 365, comments, “In addition to providing end users with all the training they need to be productive with Office 365, our approach provides proven returns on investment. If a user saves just over 30 minutes a year, the solution will have paid for itself. And of course, most users save hundreds of hours over the year.

“On top of that, the solution can reduce helpdesk and service desk incidents by up to 60%, which is a hidden but even more valuable return on investment.”

LightUp 365 also provides training videos for Microsoft products in addition to Office 365 – such as applications and operating systems, and including, for example, office 2016 Desktop and Windows 10.
