Microsoft has released a Latest Updates video to give users a full overview, but here's a list of all the key updates for May 2019:

  • Improvements to the Key Influencers visuals. This includes binning support, extra formatting options and support for mobile devices.

Reporting

  • A Performance Analyser tool to examine the performance of report elements.

  • Filter pane improvements mean you can now drag and drop filter cards within the pane to arrange them how you want to.

  • Keyboard navigation for the table and matrix visual, helping keyboard and screen readers interact more with the visuals.

  • KPI visual now supports the ability to change the text size of the indicator.

Modelling

  • You can now disable auto-date tables for all new reports if you prefer to use your own date tables.

  • The ALLSELECTED DAX feature has been updated to support multiple arguments, similar to the ALL function.

Visuals

  • New ArcGIs maps for Power BI integrates Esri into the Power BI world to provide users with the ability to create visually-pleasing, insightful maps with their data.

  • There are six new custom visuals and updates to enjoy.
