We’re delighted to announce that Vuzion has achieved the following three Microsoft Gold competencies for cloud services:

  • Gold Cloud Platform – created for partners delivering infrastructure and SaaS solutions on Microsoft Azure and helping to meet the growing demand for IaaS and SaaS solutions in the public cloud.
  • Gold Cloud Productivity – awarded to partners specialising in enterprise level deployment of Office 365.

  • Gold Small and Midmarket Cloud Solutions – awarded to partners specialising in selling Office 365 to small and mid-sized businesses.

Founded in 2016, Vuzion grew out of Cobweb Solutions, the UK’s #1 hosted exchange provider and ‘born in the cloud’ 20 years ago. Drawing on and leveraging Cobweb’s 20 years’ experience of delivery, management and support across a range of cloud services, Vuzion regards the award of accreditations and competencies essential to assuring the peace of mind of their partners, as well as serving to further strengthen capabilities and expertise.

Award of ISO 27001 certification testifies that we keep customer data confidential, safe, secure and always accessible. ISO 9001 certification demonstrates that we have standardised procedures for work and are continually looking for ways to improve, ensuring we provide a consistent service, and maintain quality, safety and reliability.

Vuzion has also achieved Gold competency for Messaging and Communications, as well as Gold Hosting, Gold OEM, Silver Datacentre and Silver Devices & Deployment.

Microsoft requires customer references as well as partner employees to reach skill standards evidenced through examinations before awarding competencies at Gold or Silver level.

At Vuzion, staff members progress along a training programme designed to ensure that the company has the in-depth industry knowledge essential for a Microsoft 2-tier provider, and recognises the value of participating in the Microsoft competency programme. Competency award requirements include training to be completed in Azure, Office365, Skype for Business, Exchange, for example.

Vuzion’s CTO, Julian Dyer, says, “This is a great achievement. It is extremely rare for a company to have so many Microsoft competencies, and particularly to have been awarded three Microsoft Golds for cloud in the UK.

“We’re very proud of the hard work and dedication of our staff.

“It’s vital for our partners that we continue to strive to achieve the best. As well as continually building on our 20 years’ experience we place a high value on outside recognition of our achievements, expertise and levels of service – such as those evidenced though our ISO accreditations – and we’re delighted to be awarded Microsoft’s highest accolade and recognised with triple Gold for our cloud services.”
