We were absolutely delighted to learn last night at the Inspire (Microsoft’s flagship partner event) Annual Awards dinner, that Vuzion Ireland has been given Microsoft’s Channel Partner Award - Indirect Provider.
The award is given for various achievements, including success in building the business - and Vuzion Ireland’s journey into the Irish CSP marketplace has certainly been momentous over the last two years.
We opened our Dublin office in April 2017, with a mission to support ISVs building a partner reseller channel using Microsoft technologies, enabling them to benefit from the lower costs of the Microsoft suite of products, and to help with migration to the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) platform and giving access to a community of 800+ Vuzion resellers across Ireland, UK, Europe and the Middle East.
In 2017, we had no partners, no pipeline and no customers - but the last year saw us experience 187 percent revenue growth to take us to a multi-million Euro business, and we’ve increased our partner base to 60+ partners, while delivering multiple cloud services and solutions.
And, with a number of partners in Northern Ireland, November 2018 saw us open an office in Belfast - a decision taken to also make it easier for partners to transact in both the north and south, in sterling and in euros.
Much of last year’s success can be attributed to the launch in 2018 of our new marketplace and billing platform, Vuzion CORE, along with our range of additional value-add services - our training and enablement programme (EDGE), professional and support services (PRO), and go-to-market support (GROW).
We also continue to build on our parent company’s 20 years’ experience in the cloud, and the investment in technical training and knowledge development made across the business.
But, of course, the main reason for us receiving the award is down to the success of our partners! It’s been wonderful to see the growth and development of our partners, and we look forward to continuing supporting them in the years to come.
