Microsoft’s flagship annual partner event, Inspire, is this year hosted in Las Vegas, 15-19 July.

The Vuzion team is busy getting ready to go – and looking forward to a fantastic week of discovering and connecting – attending the keynotes and sessions and catching up with exhibitors in the Expo.

We’re also looking forward to catching up with our partners and new contacts in the UK lounge, which Microsoft describes as the “heart of the UK experience”. Located at level 1, Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Expo Area, the lounge is the place to arrange meetings, and of course to network! Plus, a visit to the lounge gives you the chance to sit down, catch up on work, and recharge your own as well as your tech batteries.

UK Inspire experience highlights to watch out for!

UK Welcome Reception – Sunday 15 July, 19:00-21:00 (Bellagio Terrace, Bellagio Hotel, 3600 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV 89109).

This is a great a great opportunity for a first meet-up with UK partners and Microsoft staff, and to enjoy drinks and canapés – don’t forget to bring photo ID (passport and/or driving licence).

UK Partner Celebration – Tuesday 17 July, 19:30-23:30 (Chateau Nightclub and Rooftop, Paris Hotel and Casino, 3655 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Vegas, NV 89109).

The UK Partner Celebration offers another fantastic opportunity for informal networking, interspersed with live entertainment and recognition of the partner successes of the past year – and this time you’ll need to bring photo ID and a wristband, which you can collect at the welcome reception or from the UK Lounge by 14:00 on Tuesday 17 July.

First time at Microsoft Inspire?

Microsoft is keen to ensure that everyone experiences Inspire to its utmost – and is aware that a first visit can be daunting. If you are a First Time Attendee (FTA), there is a programme especially for you – set up to connect FTAs with experienced Inspire attendees, mentors who will provide one-to-one guidance, both before and during the conference.

I thoroughly recommend joining the programme. It’s easy to sign up – once you’ve completed the Inspire registration, go to the “edit your profile” page, and sign up to become a ‘mentee’.

How the Vuzion team can help

We are taking a large team over to Inspire this year, and will be in Las Vegas from Friday 13 June in the afternoon, staying until 20 June. We consider ourselves to be a very helpful, friendly bunch, and will make sure that there will always be someone from the team in the UK partner lounge, and we’ll be very pleased to help If you’re at a loss of what to do, where to go, the best events to attend – or indeed, if you just fancy a coffee ….

We’ll also be looking forward to chatting with you about Microsoft solutions, services, announcements and news – particularly about Azure, Office 365 and Microsoft 365! –and come visit us to hear about our amazing Azure Deal!

You can find contact details for the Vuzion team on our Inspire page. Don’t forget that if you’re not able to make it to Inspire, you can catch up with all the key news at our post-Inspire event, Inspired (Thursday 9 August 2018, at Microsoft UK, Paddington, London) – an Inspire summary in the UK in one day! – and otherwise, looking forward to seeing you in Las Vegas!
